Inflatable Thoracic Lumbar Sacral Orthosis
The inflatable TLSO brace (Thoracic Lumbar Sacral Orthosis) is a full-segment spinal brace with adjustable airbags, covering the thoracic, lumbar and sacral spine areas.
Typical Applicable Symptoms:
A. Mild thoracolumbar compression fracture: Obvious stabbing pain in the thoracolumbar region when standing up or turning over.
B. Early ambulation stage after thoracolumbar surgery: Obvious pulling pain when the spine exerts force, making patients afraid to stand and walk normally.
C. Moderate to severe lumbar instability and spondylolisthesis: Clear misalignment sensation of the spine when bending over or turning the body.
D. Senile osteoporosis with thoracolumbar kyphosis: Severe low back soreness after long-time standing, with reduced balance sense.
E. Multi-segment thoracolumbar degeneration with acute severe pain attack: Ordinary lumbar belts cannot provide sufficient supporting force.
Core Practical Functions:
A. 3D Stable Fixation: Even pressure from airbags limits spine flexion, extension, lateral bending and rotation at the same time, maintaining normal spinal alignment.
B. Greatly Reduce Load and Pain: Airbags expand to widen the vertebral space, lowering the weight-bearing pressure on intervertebral discs and fracture ends.
C. Prevent Deformity and Boost Healing: Guide the spine to stay in the neutral physiological position, avoid worsening kyphosis, and create a stable repair environment for injured sites.
D. Flexible Pressure Adjustment: Users can adjust air volume along with swelling subsiding and rehabilitation progress, no need to change different size braces frequently.
Precautions for Use:
A. For severely unstable fractures, nerve compression and complete paralysis, do not rely only on the brace for conservative treatment. Seek timely surgical evaluation.
B. Adjust the inflating pressure to leave 1-2 fingers’ space and make sure breathing is not restricted. Never inflate the airbags too fully.
C. Strictly follow doctors’ advice on wearing duration, which usually should not exceed 3 months. Long-term wearing may lead to core muscle atrophy.
