Arm Fracture Orthopedic Splint

Orthopedic Splint for Arm Fracture

Arm fractures come from several common causes. Direct force like a heavy hit or car crash breaks the bone right at the contact spot, often hurting nearby soft tissue. Indirect force usually happens when you fall on your palm: the force travels up your wrist to the forearm, causing slant breaks that are very common at home or during sports. Twisting force from wrong pulls or machine catches creates spiral breaks, and two special types are pathologic fractures from weak bones and stress fractures from repeated arm movements.

Doctors first take an X-ray to check the break. For stable fractures, they reset the bone and use a cast or splint for 4 to 8 weeks. Complex breaks need surgery with small metal plates to fix bone pieces tightly.

Orthopedic Arm Splint is a great helper: it holds your arm in a safe position, lets air pass through, and lets you adjust tightness easily. It supports your arm during recovery, avoids stiff joints, and helps you get back to daily life faster.
