Cervical Support

Daily Neck Care Guide
Many of us spend hours working on computers or scrolling through phones. Without noticing, we get used to keeping our heads down. After work, our neck often feels stiff, shoulders get tight, and we may even hear soft clicks when turning our heads. These small signs are your cervical spine sending a message: it needs gentle support and care.

What is proper cervical support
Good cervical support never means locking your neck in a fixed position. It simply helps your neck get back to its natural curve. Our cervical spine has a soft, natural C-shape. When you look down at a screen for a long time, this curve will slowly flatten out. Your neck muscles have to carry several times the weight of your head, and this will easily lead to strain over time. Proper support fills the small gap between your neck and the chair back or pillow. It lets your muscles relax instead of staying tight all the time.

Three easy daily care tips
You do not need complex physical therapy to take good care of your neck. These simple moves in daily life can bring great relief:

Adjust your monitor to eye level when working. Put a thin neck cushion behind your neck, so your neck will not hang in the air when you lean on the chair.
Do not sleep on your arms with a twisted neck during midday break. Use a small travel neck pillow to hold your neck gently, and avoid keeping your neck in a bad position for too long.
When you pick a pillow, do not choose a very thin one that only supports the back of your head. Make sure the pillow supports your neck, so you will not wake up with a stiff neck.
